27.01.2008: Two Days in Paris: I adore this film. It's observations concerning a love affair are subtle and humourous and I specifically enjoyed the monolgue by Julie at the end where she discusses her feelings re love. Good dialogue throughout and she has to be congratulated regarding the script. I hope she continues writing for film. Michael

10.05.2007: A woman of grace and finesse. Her acting ability is superb...a much overused adjective but relevant in her case. "Before Sunset" showed her ability at its best. A bonny quin with the courage to live her life exactly as she wants to. Michael

26.03.2007: Just to say thank you for such a good site dedicated to Ms Delpy, amazingly talented woman. Her last Deux Jours proved her ability as a director too. She has so rare talent to tell interesting about NORMAL people. It's not often when we can see themselves on a screen. Good luck! Valery

18.06.2006: My husband and I have just become fans of Julie Delpy after finding Before Sunrise at our local library last week. We then found Before Sunset and watched that this weekend. We were deeply impressed with the chemistry between Ms Delpy and Ethan Hawke, the intelligence of the scripts for both films and the tremendous depth of character and a naturalness to their relationship that these movies captured. There was a refreshing naturalness that authentic. But to add to our already huge measure of admiration for Delpy's character, her singing at the end of the second film just floored us! We're pretty picky music connoisseurs and I braced myself when she picked up the guitar worrying that she might not have the talent to properly carry the mood of the picture. But again, she proved herself to be exceptionally gifted on all fronts!

So, just wanted to say a big thank you for putting this very respectful, classy and impressive website together. My husband found it in the middle of the night last night, and bookmarked the page so that I could enjoy it today. You have done your idol justice, and given us an enjoyable way to further explore the talents of this amazing young woman. Keep up the good work! Steve & Lisa

14.12.2005: i am really a biggest fan of ms. delpy.. thats why i am so happy that you have these feedback site for the audience. hope julie and ethan will have another pre sequel of before sunset..i really love the films.. those two movies still haunts me. edelweiss

27.11.2005: How incredibly refreshing, how wonderful to find a place where a part of me feels it belongs, to find that there are, as I suspected many souls who are on the same wave length as mine and just treasure the work and art that can't stop pouring out as it is really the case of saying of brilliant minds like those of Julie (I just can't help having a bigger bias for her over the others), Ethan and Richard. And at the same time how much disillusioned craving for being endowed by mother nature with the same artistic disposition (who writes is just one of the worldwide army of frustrated musicians/painters/writers or else who will never get to elevate themselves to work and create with Ms. Delpy and the like) as them and get to live a life fulfilling one's own dreams and abilities. Smashy site, well done and... well whatever... though my life has been plentiful I guess I will have to live with the regret of not being capable of translating all the artistic potential I think/hope truly lives in my soul into anything that can bring any more happiness, thoughtfulness and depth in anyone else's lives. That still won't keep me from giving my accolade to one of the brightest minds (as well as splendid woman and, I like to think, pure soul) of today's cinema panorama, sticking out of the current humdrum scene that dominates the North American movie production. I will always have much more of a penchant for European (or should I say quite simply non-Hollywood) film making, but it's thanks to people like Julie, Ethan and Richard (as well as a few more to be fair...) that I still feel there is hope even in the land where vile cash dominates decision making. I want more ideas provoking material from anyone who's capable of tickling my grey matter and shall not stop in front of cultural, racial or any other kind of differences as long as my heart will be able to feel joy or sorrow. Love you all. Piero

27.09.2005: Thanks for this site dedicated to this modern muse of the art, Julie is a true inspiration for confront this difficult world. Luis from Chile, the last limit of the earth.

22.05.2005:
Thanks for your efforts in making and maintaining this site. You've done a great job. The Quotes are the best part and of course that phenomenal picture in it. Julie is a true beauty; something very strong comes behind those tender eyes. I've never seen a face so close to a pure soul. RobI, Croatia.

21.03.2005: Congratulations for the site about Julie Delpy, it is amazing, I appreciate the talent and the sensitivite of Julie, she is an angel, she is a dream, my tribute to this wonderful person. Antonio from Portugal

09.02.2005: Thanks for the great site as one who just discovered Julie in "Before Sunset" and "Before Sunrise" 2 weeks ago. (I did see her in White but long ago.) I want a 3rd movie like "Before Midnight". Could you use your influence, whatever, to encourage a 3rd movie, but not the long wait of 9 years. Bob

25.01.2005: Why oh why did this multi-talented performer not get nominated for best actress? What a travesty! The Novak-McSweeneys

03.01.2005: Bravo for your Julie web site, it's very appreciated. Why don't you have last posters from Julie's last films on the site? Thank you very much. Daniel

21.12.2004: Congratulations! grade moi une cigarette stp, on se parle dès ce soir? lov, VB

20.12.2004: Wish you good luck in 2005! Hope you can be the role of "Sophie" in the upcoming movie "The Da Vinci Code". We are looking forward to seeing you more next year. Xing

20.12.2004: Like many on this site, since seeing "Before Sunset" I have felt compelled to learn more about Delpy and the creators of such an endearing movie. She is clearly a talented actress, musician, writer, and a host of other pursuits that I'm sure aren't revealed in the "Before..." movies. As might be obvious, however, this is all leading to a semi-big "But....". My reservations do not have much to do with how this site is run, because I think you have done an admirable job of keeping it respectful, interesting, and void of the usual hollywood gossip. But having everyone center their attention, their energy, whatever you want to call it, on this one actress seems counter to the idea of the films that we have seen. Our obsession with celebrity clouds the things that matter most in life: day-to-day relationships, learning, experiencing; in short, living rather than watching others live. Yes, in many ways the "Before..." films are a fantasy that we are watching, but what we are watching is a fantasy about how powerful life is when don't become numb to one another. It is evident from many of the comments on this site that most who enjoyed these movies long for a different kind of hollywood, a kind of entertainment that glorifies the beauty of existence, rather than the supeficial beauty of an unattainable fantasy. To round all this up, here goes my main "but....": this site seems to play upon Delpy's role as a famous and talented actress/directer/writer/musician/, her skills and her beauty, and ends up lookng like only a slighlty deeper examination of her celebrity. I would love to see a site that mentions Julie Delpy only in the ideas that she has brought forth (along with others) through her various works, that explores the undeniable feeling that so many have seem to have had watching these movies: the feeling that we are missing something today in our entertainment; in our communication; in our willingness to engage with each other if only to better understand the confusing world we live in. These movies aren't about star power, they are about dialogue (literally) and I think creating interesting dialogue along film buffs and dreamers alike would be the biggest tribute you could pay to an interesting human being like Julie Delpy. Of course, this is the only tribute site I've ever seen (for any person), so you can write this off as someone outside his comfort zone if you'd like. Good luck with you efforts... Olivier

13.12.2004: completely understand your effort in creating this site. i'm totaly in love with julie. since watching "sunset" i've visited all related sites about julie and the film, joined fan groups, and i've never done such thing in my life! the only thing i don't like is that u have zillion times more chances to be called from julie then me... if she calls, please, tell her that i love her... big up, thanks for the site! aleksandar, serbia

08.12.2004: Hi: Excellent, professional-looking web site for Julie Delpy. I would not make any suggestions for improvement. Too bad she won't help you out, but it looks like you got everything you need from various web sites. I had seen her in the "color" movies at this strange theater at Rice U. in Houston in the mid-1990's when I lived there. I thought she was great, but I only saw the "Before" movies because a movie-maker name Steven Simon recommended "Before Sunset," so I rented it and thought it was fantastic! Then I saw "Before Sunrise" the next day, and thought it was great also. Linklater is great, I'd really recommended the animated "A Waking Life" if you haven't seen it, and apparently the 2 stars from the "Before" movies are in it, though I only vaguely remember that because I hadn't seen the "Before" movies at that point. Thanks again, great work. Regards. Sandy

29.11.2004: I saw Before Sunset this weekend, and fell in love with Julie Delpy. I enjoyed your site. I have been trying unsuccessfully to find an "itinerary" in Paris for Jesse and Celine in Before Sunset. I cannot figure out how they got from the bookstore to the cafe, etc. Any ideas? (I saw the link you have for their route in Vienna in Before Sunrise.) Thanks, Alix

15.11.2004: bonjour, i was not a fan of Julie neither of ethan hawke, but.... i saw before sunset and then i saw before sunrise and i admire these two wonderful persons, because those films touched me so much, and i think that to make films so sensitive they might be wonderful persons as well. I hope they continue giving us so beatiful moments of dreams and beauty and i may considered american films, independents american films as good as european cinema. from a new european fan. Cristina

02.09.2004: Hi, this is a wonderful site, with lots of excellent and up-to-date info. Congratulations, and thank you for doing such a wonderful job. The Novak-McSweeneys

30.08.2004: This is the only site I visit when I want news about the almost perfect Julie D. Best wishes to your GREAT site! Michael

04.08.2004: Just wanted to drop you a line to say a huge "thank you" for your absolutely magnificent website in honour of the incomparable Julie. Of all the many great things you include, I must say that a particular high point for me was the complete film script for 'Before Sunrise'. However, despite looking high and low for the film script for the sequel, 'Before Sunset', I couldn't seem to find it anywhere. Does this simply mean that I'm looking in the wrong places, or is it just not available yet? (I'm sure you would have it if it were!) Any info on where I might be able to obtain a copy and/or when if might be available on your site would be enormously appreciated! With many thanks again - and keep up the good work! Ed

19.07.2004: I would like to say that not only has Julie been so refreshing over the years but now with the probability that the dialogue, script and possibly props in her flat were coming from her own personal viewpoint it is extremely gratifying knowing that Ms. Delpy may have a very impressive impact on Hollywood going forward. Years back, I was initially intrigued when I saw her act in German and French. Before Sunrise was the nicest romantic fantasy I have experienced and if what the script for Sunset was actually Julie speaking it just gives me vital hope that there are people out there that really care about this earth and its inhabitants. I personally need that reassurance now in my present travels and Before Sunset's timing could not have been better from my standpoint. Seeing the credits, that Oceans Apart was also written by Julie makes it so much more special that we all can admire a true, passionate, talented soul. Combining that with an obviously brilliant and attractive gifts she was given is just so rare in the world I know. David

18.07.2004: Hi, I just want to tell you that you have a wounderful, great Julie Delpy site!!! I just became a Julie Delpy fan - did not know her until a few days... But now I am enchanted :-) Many thanks for the much information and the pictures about Julie on your site!!! Wish you the best! Reinmar

13.07.2004: Hi - Thank you for running this wonderful site. It well deserves the top google ranking for "julie delpy". After watching "Before Sunset" twice in its premiere week here in Austin, Texas, I absolutely understand why you would put in so much (visible) effort to have the site as what it is today: unparalleled beauty and talent of Ms. Delpy. Best wishes, Oliver

15.02.2004: I just wanted to thank you for posting the Before Sunset items. Before Sunrise is my all-time favorite film! I have to admit that I wasn't happy about the sequel when I heard about it because I was afraid it might spoil the ending of the the first one. And it just might for me! But still I want to see it and I am hoping for the best. Your Julie Delpy website is awesome! Margaret

30.09.2003: Bonjour, Je voudrais dire à Julie combien je l'admire. J'espère la voir à sa prochaine venue à Paris. Marie Claire

18.09.2003: Hi, just want to say thanks for this great, informative site... Just did an interview with Julie regarding her album release and it was really helpful, the album is great and very natural, or personal... Best Stefan / Radio Z

22.05.2003: This site is as beautiful an idea, as the looks of this adorable woman. Julie certainly deserves this honour. Please continue your good work. The world could never see too much of this delicate woman. Torben

19.05.2003: Your site is quite beautiful!! I love the colors and the beautiful simplicity of the clean lines and black background. I run a fansite as well and am often gathering images of various other celebrities. Let me know if you'd like some Julie images for your gallery. Sincerely, Ruth, Webmaster of www.discoverkate.com

22.12.2002: I was just browsing your Julie Delpy site, and the font looked tiny in 1024x768. Otherwise a beautiful site about a beautiful woman. Good work. Josh

21.12.2002 (birthday greetings):

You were absolutely fabulous in the the movie, "Voyager", as it continues to be my favorite movie. I'm now reading the book, "Homo Faber". "Before Sunrise" is a great movie too. Have a happy birthday and keep up the great work! A true fan, Chris.

Happy Birthday Julie, Happy Birthday to the most talented and lovliest actress! Wish you all the best, regards Jakob

08.07.2002: Hey, I just wanted to let you know that I appreciate you trying to keep this site up and maintained. As a webdeveloper I know how hard it is to keep everything clean, fresh, and up to date. I know this is especially hard seeing as though Julie doesn't see much mainstream action. Please know that your work is appreciated! Gene

27.05.2002: This is a very interesting site. I spent much time looking at it. I think Julie is a very good actress. Marlow

21.04.2002: Your Julie Delpy site is very nice. Thanks for your efforts. Mark

04.04.2002: Thanks for your excellent site on Julie Delpy. I discovered her recently when I saw "Before Sunrise", which is now playing on several cable channels. I had actually seen her before in the Showtime movie "The Passion of Ayn Rand", but her character there didn't make much of an impression on me. I haven't seen her other films, but it's hard to believe anything could top "Before Sunrise" for "Delpy appeal factor"! It would be interesting to know how similar her personality is to that of Celine in "Before Sunrise" (my guess is they have a lot in common - maybe Charles can comment). There doesn't seem to be much interview material for her available on the web - I guess she's in kind of a twilight zone between being a major star and a pure indie/repertory actor. The filmography on your site is nicely done. It would be great if you could add a ranking of her films according to the amount of screen time she has, and also by quality as judged by her fans. Again, thanks for the great work on your site. Bill

04.01.2002: Thanks for this excellent site. I'm an old cynic, apparently behind the times. I discovered Julie Delpy tonight by watching "Before Sunrise". It left me feeling good and a bit smitten with Ms. Delpy. Your information is useful as I will now look for her in other films. Best wishes. David

30.12.2001: I am a french girl and I just want to say that I saw her in a show on france3. Do you know that she is a brillant singer, she sang a song made by herself and it was very cool. Her voice is... I can't find any adjective to describe it, but I was amazed. Lydie

29.12.2001: Does anybody know of a web site that has her clothing designs? Larry

21.12.2001 (birthday greetings):

Joyeux anniversaire Julie! A good birthday for this talentuous and beautiful actress and she is a very good singer too (in France we have the luck to have seen her sing on the television). Valérie

I hope Ms. Delpy knows how much her work is appreciated. Her films have made for many heartfelt and hardthought occasions which have been a pleasure to share with family and friends. I would like to wish her a very happy birthday. Dominic

I first knew this pretty French actress while seeing the movie "Tri-colors: Blue, White, Red" three years ago. Last year I bought a DVD of "Before Sunrise". She is really cute in this movie with beau Ethan Hawke! Why should she not be given a better chance in America just like Juliette Binoche? She deserves it! Xing

12.12.2001: Thanks for this wonderful site, the best that I saw. Julie est simplement merveilleuse, ca va sans ca dire. Rina from Italie

05.09.2001: Well, that's the best site about Julie Delpy I've ever seen. It's not a joke. I'm a great fan of Julie Delpy. There are many situations when a fan says "I love all of his/her films". I think that it's silly (or the guy really loves the actor). I saw only two films with Julie Delpy: "An American werewolf in Paris" and "Three colours: white" by Krzysztof Kieslowski (I'm from Poland, so there weren't any problems with understanding). I must say, that Julie in the "werewolf" was charming, but honestly I don't like "white". I think that I don't like it because I'm a Pole. Who knows the film will understand what I mean. Besides that, I still think that Julie Delpy is the best. Jerry

20.08.2001: She's a natural beauty, none of that fastideous made up phoney stuff, like so many other media proclaimed babes. Justin

08.08.2001: Thanks for an informative and well edited website. GW, Studio City, CA

20.06.2001: It is time to come out from behind the curtain and take credit for a beautifully done site on an incredible person. I should know, not being in the entertainment business, I have met Julie .. on a plane ... right next to me ... three hour flight ... lot's of talk ... she is truly down to earth ... nice sense of humor, and I am one lucky guy. Brag, brag, brag ... Well, I could go on. Charles, Los Angeles, CA

20.04.2001: Just wanted to write you and say that I'm so glad to see a well developed site on this, my favorite actress. Sites of her in the past have been poorly produced and information has been pretty crappy. If you keep it going like it is now, you are going to attract quite a crowd. Keep up the good work and keep the site fresh or at least post that there is nothing new happening. Good luck!!! Gene

16.04.2001: Hi there. I really loved the site which is by far the best and the most comprehensive but when you direct people to photos they tend to expect them as thumbnails. Still its the only fan site for this talented lady to come from the heart, not somewhere else. Thank you from Sharon

02.03.2001: The site you've designed for fans of Ms. Delpy is nicely done and has the most complete film bio I know of for her. Dominic

30.11.2000: Great Julie Delpy site. I have collected memorabilia on her since Before Sunrise but had lost track of her through the usual channels until recently. I saw the otherwise mediocre But I'm a Cheerleader in a theatre to see her unfortunately brief cameo.  Keep up the good work.

26.11.2000: Thanx for this great site!!!!!!!! Keep it updated please, greetings from Austria, Regards Jakob

18.05.2000: I would like to thank you for making such a wonderful website on Julie Delpy. This site is by far the best one on her, and I would be very grateful if you could keep it updated from time to time. Thank you very much for the great work. Dennis

03.05.2000: Loved your site! The best I've seen, and with unique pictures and articles too. All the best, Larry

29.04.2000: Cool site. Especially the news page. That other main site seems to have been abandoned. Keep up the good work and I'll keep checking in. Joe

22.04.2000: Hi, I thought your site on Julie Delpy was very good. She has become my favorite actress, making all others look plastic. She chooses some great roles and plays them so well. Regards Pete
