Top 50 Movie Endings of All Time

Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy in "Before Sunset"July 2006: FilmCritic has put together a list of the Top 50 Movie Endings of All Time. Before Sunset is at number 20: "Cooler than pre-Scientology Isaac Hayes in Antarctica eating popsicles and drinking iced coffee, Julie Delpy dances and sings Nina Simone in front of Ethan Hawke and croons, sexy as they come, "Baby, you're gonna miss that plane". Delpy has never been given enough time on screen to fully capture audience appeal, but in this moment, she has it over any hip chick this side of Santa Monica."

Imagining Ourselves

Imagining OurselvesApril 2006: Read Julie's contributions to the project Imagining Ourselves:

About the project

Imagining Ourselves reaches out to a new generation of women - the one billion women between the ages of 20 and 40 - answering the question "What defines your generation?" Through an online exhibit, a series of global gatherings, and a new book, Imagining Ourselves provides resources and opportunities for women to create change in their lives, in their communities, and in their world. We draw upon the thoughts of young women worldwide to reveal a generation of women poised to take the reigns of global leadership like no other generation in history - a generation of women who believe that anything is possible for young women today. The goals of Imagining Ourselves are to increase young women in leadership positions, to connect our esteemed partners (such as the Global Fund for Women and the World YWCA) to a broad audience, and to increase international community among this first global generation of women. The magic happens when young women are able to form connections across international boundaries and use those connections to improve each other's lives. Read more
